Carol Bell - Artist |
An Indiana native, Carol
pursued her dream of dabbling in the arts after many
years in management in the Indianapolis corporate
community. She soon found herself totally immersed
in clay - literally - and created Blue Moon Pottery in
her studio located in Noblesville, IN.
The raw beauty of nature
inspires Carol's work where her clay is her canvas.
Stoneware and porcelain clays are used with a variety of
resists, slips and glazes to achieve unique and dynamic
results. Collectors say her work has a "rustic elegance"
they find very appealing and “It’s not just pottery,
it’s ART!” She has participated in numerous local and
regional art exhibitions and art fairs and has won
several awards.
In addition to the CCA
Gallery, Carol’s work can be found at the Indiana State
Museum, The Hamilton County Art Center and Logan Village
in Noblesville, the Minnetrista Cultural Center in
Muncie and the Ferrer Gallery in Nashville, Indiana. |
